Villa Oasis - complete description
Villa Oasis is a real oasis of luxury which is a living testament to some of the different building styles found in Indonesia (lavishly Java, Madura, Sulawesi & Bali). Villa Oasis is a blend of all modern and traditional. Modern facilities and amenities set in all traditional style and material. The palatial property is strategically located in Jimbaran area, ten minutes driving time from both the airport & the beaches at Nusa Dua. The villa is only a short drive down a small road, which is accessed from the bypass that leads Bali International airport to the enclave of five star hotels at Nusa Dua.
On this large compound there are three private villas: The Classic Oasis,
The Junior Suite Oasis and The Royal Suite Oasis. Each villa is equipped with private facilities including pool, en-suite bathroom and kitchen.
The Classic Oasis
This largest villa is situated right in front of the location. Set on 3,500sqm of land, The Classic Oasis comprises nine self standing structures.The Modern Building
This modern building is attached with the parking area, on the right side of the entrance. In addition to a double garage, laundry & a maid room are all located on the ground floor. The suite is situated upstairs, fully air-conditioned, and features an en-suite bathroom with bathtub.
The Joglo
This Javanese Joglo-was transported from Java and re-erected here. This full teak wood structure is adjacent to the first building, features a master suite with a double bed dwarfed by a great antique canopy, TV, and good sound system. The en-suite bathroom features bath / Jacuzzi, garden shower and bidet. Its veranda boasts an opium bed, with table and chairs.
The Sulawesi
This all-wooden structure with a tiled roof was transported from Sulawesi-Celebes Island and re-erected here. All bedrooms are located upstairs, two bedrooms with queen sized-bed and an additional queen sized day bed with mosquito net (could be the third bedroom). The down floor serves as living area, and working studio. There are two en-suites: one is at the down floor and one is upstairs.
The Spa Room
Adjacent to the swimming pool, it serves as a pool restroom featuring two toilets, a black lava stone Jacuzzy and two Spa table bed. In addition to a comfortable sitting area, it is furnished with set of antique sofa, chairs & coffee table. There is a washroom, toilet and two shower recesses.
The Bale Kambang
Literally Bale Kambang means floating structure. In the beginning, the structures definitely stand within a fish pond, but recently the pond is leak (so it is empty). It is a rich brown colored single storey wooden structure, features two fully air-conditioned bedrooms completed with private en-suite bathroom in each. There is also an additional bed with mosquito net located on the living area; it could be the third bed. The verandah is facing the pool and is opposite to the Joglo.
The Pool Bale
In Bali this structure is calle Bale Benong, a place to think for nothing. It is a perfect place to get relaxed and having massage.
The Wantilan
Concept of this building is derived from the wantilan, an open style structure serves public needs found at any big temple in Bali. This building is an open plan pavilion serves as main living and dining area. Located behind this building is the main kitchen completed with all modern cooking utensils. The dining table seats for 10 persons.
The Bale Kembar
This Balinese traditional Bale Bandung is the newest bedroom on the compound features twin of queen size beds, mosquito net, ac, private en-suite with bathtub and shower.
The Jineng
In Bali this style of building is called Jineng - a granary / rice barn serves a playroom for children and as the night guard outpost.
Junior Suite Oasis
The Oasis Junior is between the Grand Oasis and the Senior. Personally designed by the owner, a famous architect of the island, this villa represents his deep love to his profession and his yearly experience in architecture of Bali. The major theme of the architecture of Junior Suite is minimalist combined with strength of local stone and old teak and ebony wood, the east meet the west.Element of the villa
Entrance to the villa is a Balinese style gate with sculpture of Boma over the door which gives a strong impression of the entire villa. This is more strengthened by the granite covered all part of the structure. A statue of head of Buddha is placed right in the middle of the angkul-angkul to show peace to whom entering the villa. Passing the foyer there is an open space serves the living area of the villa which ended by a pergola made of strong old teak wood. A kitchen is positioned behind the living area opposite the pool.
The villa contains 2 bedrooms which positioned on left and right of the living area. The bed is uniquely made of nice soft colored stone, nicely arranged and covered with terrazzo on its top, and bordered by strong teak wood. The head board of each bed is made of cream stone to provide a strong but cool impression. Each bedroom is accompanied with an en-suite bathroom equipped with bathtub, shower, and hand-basin. Both bedrooms have access to the living area.
A pool bale is placed in front of the Room 1 serves as sitting area where a massage can nicely be done. In front of the Room 2 there is a door-loop covered with creeping tropical plant. This is access to the The Royal Suite Oasis when both villas are rented together as four bedrooms.
The Royal Suite Oasis
The Royal Suite is situated attached to the Junior but connected with a wooden gate. This gate is to join both villas to be 4 bedrooms. The main entrance is a Balinese style gate with some steps to the small lawn and living area. First object is the pool which is outstanding and dominates the ground. The pool is about 35sqm and is about 50cm over the ground.The main structure is L-shaped building with 2 high quality bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are situated facing the sunrise and the pool; while the kitchen is open style also facing the pool. Each bedroom is equipped with king sized bed, audio, satellite TV and a private en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower, hot & cold running water, and hand-basin. The beds are unique as it is made of soft-cream stone and its head board is also made of same quality stone. Every elements of the bathroom are from the best quality. The master bedroom is larger than the second and it is also fully equipped with better facility: bigger plasma tv, better sound system.
Compared with the Junior, the Royal really looks senior for its size and impression of being bigger. It becomes nicer and senior since on a corner, adjacent to the pool, the villa is equipped with a Jacuzzi.
